The first demolition process under uncontrolled constructions which came to the agenda after the visit of the Minister of Environment and Urban Planning Murat Kurum to the district started at the Bo Viera project in Gündoğan Küçükbük.

Zoning case in the State Council
The Bo Viera project (Besa Group), consisting of 330 villas and 80 rooms, owned by Salih Bezci, former President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, built on the border of Bodrum’s Göltürkbükü and Gündoğan districts. The construction of the project, licensed by Bodrum Municipality, started in February 2016. Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, approved the zoning plan changes sued for the cancellation of the 2nd Administrative Court of Muğla.
In July 2018, the court suspended the execution on the grounds there no public interest in the plan change. The Company also appealed against the decision and applied to the 3rd Administrative Case Office of Izmir Regional Administrative Court. It unanimously decided by the upper court to abolish the decision and the case due to the statute of limitations. The lawyers of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality applied to the Council of State to appeal the decision of the court. The stage of the Council of State of the case has not concluded yet.
