Turkey launched “maritime post offices”

The State Post and Telegraph Organization of Turkey (PTT) launched “sea post”. Akşam agency inform about this on Tuesday, July 9th. According to the report, specially equipped boats will perform the function of post offices during the summer months. Maritime post offices allow people who cannot reach the PTT point on land transfer cash, use logistic and other services.

According to the Director General of PTT, Kenan Bozgeyik, the new sea post offices – revolutionary solution. PTT  prepared this project for three years.

The director of PTT noted that the maritime post offices had already begun operations in Istanbul, Bodrum and Marmaris.
