OPEX summ increase in Turkey

Since August 1st price for natural gas in Turkey has increased, Milliyet informs. With reference to the statement of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

According to the report, the rise prices was 13.73% for the residential sector and 14.97% for the industrial sector. In accordance with the law on consumption tax, inflation data will updated 2 times a year (July/January).

The increase in electricity, water and natural gas tariffs may increase in line with updates to inflation data. Besides, since July 1, electricity prices have increased by 14.98% for all consumer sectors.
