Moldova and Turkey can agree on the mutual recognition of a drivers license. This will allow Moldovans living in Turkey to transfer their driver’s license without passing exams. Negotiations on this issue initiated by the Turkish side.
Today, November 1st, composition of the official delegation, which will work on the draft Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the conversion and mutual recognition of a driver’s license established. The delegation includes representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Public Services Agency.
According to the Agreement, the holder of a drivers license has the right to convert license without conducting exams.
Arrangements for entry into force 60 days after the implementation of internal procedures necessary for its entry into force.
