Sberbank sold Denizbank to Emirates NBD group

Sberbank and Emirates NBD Bank PJSC announced on July 30, 2019 about the share sale. The acquisition of DenizBank shares A.Ş. approved by the UAE, Turkey, Austria and Russia bank regulators and closed.

Sberbank and Emirates NBD announced the completion of the transaction. Emirates NBD now owns 99.85% of DenizBank A.Ş shares.

According to the agreement Denizbank shares of April 2, revenues amounted to 170.7 billion rubles. The total investment of Sberbank into Denizbank for the time of its ownership amounted to 148 billion rubles.
