Transport expenses
How to cut transport expenses during the holiday? If we talk about a transport in Bodrum the answer is simple – use public transport. Namely, ride the minibus, use the ferries and walk. So you will save your nerves, not idle in endless summer traffic jams, and money, a liter of gasoline cost comes near 7TL.
Let’s start with sea transport. If you travel with friends and want to see all bays and beaches will be better to rent traditional Turkish wooden yacht than to take an excursion with unmeaning paid meal. Or take ferry to the Datça peninsula, round-trip ticket costs 110TL.
Second type implies walking through the city (it’s not so big) and looking around some museums, cafes and historical places. Cheap and healthy and good for mood 🙂
And finally – wheels. You can use local dolmuş (their trip starts from Central bus station – Garage) – shuttle bus, also there are some routs to the nearest towns – Turgutreis, Yalikavak, Bitez, Torba and etc. The cost of the trip, for example to Konacık (near the Avenue shopping center) – 3.25TL.
If you don’t bear the heat or tired of walking, rent a car (mechanics cheaper ), a bicycle or a scooter, rental stations are here on every street.
Don’t forget about insurance and have a nice time!
