World Rally Championship (WRC) in Turkey

The ceremonial start of 11th race of World Rally Championship (WRC) 2019 open the Rally of Turkey.

After 8 years and for the second time in Marmaris, the championship returned to Turkey. The broadcast of the event covers 155 countries and the number auditory will reach 850 million people. Famous pilots of the most prestigious and largest rally competition began the competition with a symbolic start at 18:30. At 20:08 along a special 2-kilometer route, spectators could watch the world famous pilots.

Teams will compete 17 stages with a length of 310 kilometers, the total route length is 988 kilometers. The main part will go along the gravel in Marmaris, capture the Datça Peninsula and Ula. During the rally that began in Asparan, teams will compete at special stages in İçmeler, Değirmenyanı, Yeşilbelde, Çetibeli, Gökçe, Ula, Kızlan, Çiçekli and Datca Peninsula for 3 days. Today the competition held in İçmeler, Çetibeli and Ula. They will continue on Saturday, September 14, in Yeşilbelde, Datça and Kızlan. The Kızlan stage, which will held for the first time this year, will delight the audience with successive jumping points during first kilometers.
