Almost all Gümüşlük is an open-air museum, dating back to the 4th century BC life here was boiling.
Myndos city was one of the eight largest at that time. Violated the habitual way of life a strong earthquake, Myndos Historic city was in ruins, the coastal part completely flooded. The remains of the sunken city just the wall and now you can see them even at a depth (but diving prohibited). Until now still alive just only the ruins of the stadium, the theater and part of the walls of this remind us about flourishing city.
